It looks like a decent build. I'd have some worries about the wheels. Those look like tadpole trike/wheel chair hubs with bike rims. That plane is at least 400lbs, and then pilot, and fuel... I wonder if the wheels will hold up. That was a problem for early ultralights that were doing essentially the same thing.
If I am correct those wheels are the same type that I use on my dirt jumping bike. Very light and strong. MAke a good point about total weight of the plane and pilot but I have hit those rims extremely hard with my 180lb on them. The only issue I could see it them not handling the force of lets same the plane coming in for an emergency landing.
